"I'm not going to jump the queue" - Liam Harrison won't call for a bantamweight Muay Thai title shot if he beats Seksan

Liam Harrison promises not to get too carried away on the microphone if he defeats Seksan Or Kwanmuang at ONE 168: Denver. The world's largest martial arts organization returns to the United States this coming Friday, Sept. 6, inside the Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado.

After nearly two years away from the game due to a knee injury, it's safe to say that Harrison will be going all out to chase the thrilling euphoria that comes with winning.

If 'Hitman' produces another spine-chilling knockout victory, he may put himself in a position to call dibs on the winner of the Jonathan Haggerty versus Superlek Kiatmoo9 bantamweight Muay Thai world title showdown in the main event.

However, don't expect the British veteran to do such a thing.

In a recent interview with the South China Morning Post, the fifth-ranked contender says he will honor the rankings:

"Listen, I know there's a queue for that belt. I don't know how long I'll be sitting around for."

Plus, Liam Harrison graciously admitted that no.1 contender Nico Carrilo should get the next shot, adding:

"Haggerty doesn't fight that often. He only fights two or three times a year. So he'll fight [versus Superlek], but if he keeps holding the belt, his next fight will be Carrillo. Nico is number one. He's knocked everyone out. He's earned his shot and I'm not jumping the queue."

Liam Harrison shares the determining factor in Superlek vs Jonathan Haggerty

Liam Harrison may have his differences with fellow Englishman Jonathan Haggerty, but it doesn't cloud his judgment when it comes to predicting how this massive showdown will unfold.

According to the 38-year-old slugger, 'The General's' decision to acclimatize himself with Colorado's altitude could very well be his key to retaining 26 pounds of gold.

Speaking to the South China Morning Post, he said:

"This is a five-round fight, Superlek vs Haggerty. If he starts to gas mid-rounds. Not only that, Haggerty is sufficiently bigger than him as well."

He went on to add:

"Superlek comfortably made 135 about six weeks ago. Haggerty is a lot lot bigger than him. So if he starts to feel that altitude and gas mid-rounds. It's going to be massively in Jonathan's favor this fight."

Tickets to ONE 168: Denver are available via Ticketmaster.
