“I'm happy I put on a great performance” - Jonathan Haggerty looks back on his action-filled tilt with Mongkolpetch

Jonathan Haggerty has gone above and beyond since he first signed with ONE Championship, and he looks back on all of those accomplishments with pride.

Although he had also experienced many ordeals, from heavy losses, losing his golden belt, to debuting in a new weight division, the UK superstar also knew that it was all part of his journey.

Haggerty posted a YouTube video of him looking back in retrospect on his past fights, and there, he highlighted one of his toughest matches when facing Mongkolpetch through three rounds of nonstop action.

'The General' said:

"I'm thankful I put on such a great performance for this one, because this was when they started to introduce $50,000 bonuses for performances, so I'm happy I put on a great performance for this one."

Haggerty also mentioned how he struggled to be ahead of Mongkolpetch in that grueling fight:

"I was glad to hear the final bell, I can't lie for this one. I put so much in the first and second round. I was knackered."

Next, the two-sport ONE world champion Jonathan Haggerty will be facing Superlek Kiatmoo9 to defend his bantamweight Muay Thai title at ONE 168 in Denver, Colorado, on September 6.
