"I'm the Hitman" - Henry Cejudo claims UFC wants him to "take out" Aljamain Sterling

Henry Cejudo seems eager and impatient to come out of retirement as he continues to take shots at Aljamain Sterling. 'Triple C' has been engaged in a public dispute with the current bantamweight champion for a while now, and both the fighters have gone back-and-forth on social media.

On a recent episode of Michael Bisping's Believe You Me podcast, Henry Cejudo claimed that the UFC has plans for his comeback fight:

"They want Aljamain. They want me to pretty much take him out. I'm the hitman. They're sending me in. The bantamweight division's gotta move... The UFC wants a champion that can continue fighting."

'Triple C' made a case for himself as he reminded Bisping that he fought Demetrious Johnson, TJ Dillashaw and Marlon Moraes in a span of 10 months. When questioned about his status regarding the six-month USADA clearance process, Cejudo replied:

"I'm officially, as of last month, eligible to legitimately compete."

Cejudo recently also claimed that the UFC has sent him a contract to fight Sterling at UFC 284 that will take place in Australia and that 'Funk Master' is dodging him. While it remains to be seen if Cejudo will get his fight against Sterling, it seems as though the champion isn't interested in fighting 'Triple C' anytime soon.

I’ve been sent a contact from the UFC to fight ALJOLAME Stalling in Perth Australia. This dude is doing literally everything to avoid me. Man up pussy πŸ–Š πŸ“„

Henry Cejudo backs Dustin Poirier to beat Michael Chandler at UFC 281

With UFC 281 right around the corner, Henry Cejudo recently gave his take on Dustin Poirier vs. Michael Chandler. 'Triple C' posted a video on his GOAT Talk podcast channel on YouTube where he said:

"If they were to fight like they typically do, I would have to go with Poirier. Just the better striking, the takedown defense, the experience of him fighting other fighters... It's going to be a good fight but I give him the edge. He's got better hands, he kicks too. Poirier’s gotten better through the past and he's got a chip on his shoulder."
