"I'm probably number two on the list, after Trump" - Joe Rogan and Elon Musk discuss potential cancellation fears under Kamala Harris's presidency
Joe Rogan recently had his friend, Tesla CEO Elon Musk over on his podcast, Joe Rogan Experience. Musk is one of the most influential people today, spearheading a few of the most successful business enterprises in history such as SpaceX, Tesla, and Neuralink. He also acquired X for $44 billion.
As of late, Musk has been in the political sphere after he declared his endorsement of U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump. This raised some eyebrows as the South African-born CEO has been a long-time Democrat but then declared his allegiance to the Republican party's candidate.
In the episode, Joe Rogan and Elon Musk jokingly speculated that they'll be one of the first individuals getting "canceled" if the Democratic Party's candidate, Kamala Harris, wins the presidency.
Musk said:
"If the Kamala [Harris] puppet regime wins, they're definitely going to want to cancel you. That's for sure. Yeah, big problem [laughs]."
Rogan then said that they'll probably come for Musk first, to which the Tesla CEO replied with:
"I think I'm probably number two on the list. After [Donald] Trump."
Rogan then explained that Musk is "someone with unlimited resources and intelligence" and will pose a huge threat to the U.S. government if he chooses to attack their policies.

Joe Rogan believes US government is "terrified" of the idea of Elon Musk being part of the Trump administration
In a separate podcast episode featuring former Navy Seal and CIA contractor Shawn Ryan, Joe Rogan spoke about the true nature of the threat Elon Musk poses against a Democrat-led U.S. government.
At the moment, Joe Biden, a Democrat, sits in the White House. Rogan explains why having the billion-dollar entrepreneur work in the government can mean the end of many people in it, saying:
"I think they're [current US administration] are really terrified about Donald Trump. It's not necessarily even that he's a republican. It's much more that he's a guy that is not going to play the game... One of the things that he's talked about is having Elon [Musk] come in and do some sort of government efficiency agency. They're terrified of that... He [Musk] is going to come in with like, that Tesla mindset."
Rogan and Ryan speculated that Elon Musk will do to the U.S. government the same thing he did when he acquired X, fire a huge chunk of the workforce to be more efficient with how to run things.
