"I'm proud of what I've achieved" - Liam Harrison wants to add to his legacy before riding off into the sunset
Liam Harrison has been through a lot to ensure that his career gets to end on his own terms.
For the last several years, there had to be questions asked as to whether we would see the striking legend compete one more time under the ONE Championship banner.
Following the injury that he suffered in his fight with Nong-O Hama in 2022, Harrison has spent a long time on the sidelines, which significantly shortened his career.
He's now hoping to make up for lost time by putting on a few more memorable displays before leaving 'Hitman' behind.
Ahead of his return at ONE 168 on September 6, the Brit spoke in an interview with the South China Morning Post about whether he feels ready to embark on this final chapter.
He believes that when all is said and done, he will be happy to look back on what he has accomplished:
"So yeah, I think I'm proud of what I've achieved since looking back at it right now. So hopefully there's still a few big nights in there."

Liam Harrison will certainly get a big night on September 6
Striking fans may have had to wait a long time to see Liam Harrison back competing but it looks to have been worth it.
September 6 brings a dream fight to the Ball Arena in Denver when he faces off with a fellow legend of the game in Seksan Or Kwanmuang. The two men have both had iconic careers in Muay Thai, where they have been two of the most exciting fighters in the sport.
Kicking off this final run of his career with a clash against Seksan is the perfect way for 'Hitman' to return.
Harrison has been away for a long time but that's only going to make this comeback even sweeter.
