"I'm here to put on a masterclass" - Jonathan Haggerty eager to prove he has surpassed Superlek at ONE 168
Jonathan Haggerty isn't too concerned about whether or not his opponent is bringing his absolute best to the main event of ONE 168. 'The General' has been so focused on his preparations for this fight that he has left no stone unturned ahead of fight night.
From putting himself through the most thorough training camp to date to heading out to Denver several weeks early to find his footing in the United States, the bantamweight Muay Thai world champion is ready to go.
His challenger, Superlek Kiatmoo9, may already be one of the best in the world, but there has been some conversation regarding his planning for this fight, which only saw him arrive in Denver on fight week.
This is of no concern to Haggerty, who has only been focused on getting himself ready to take on the very best version of 'The Kicking Machine'.
During the ONE 168 press conference, he spoke about how he hopes that his opponent has done the exact same:
"I believe he's ready. I don't think he's underestimated me, it would be silly to. But as long as I'm ready, that's all that matters. And I'm here to put on a masterclass and showcase some great Muay Thai."

Jonathan Haggerty is fired up heading into the main event
There is a lot for Jonathan Haggerty to gain in this fight if he is successful at the Ball Arena in Denver.
To break this fight down to its simplest form, this encounter is about revenge for Haggerty, who was beaten by Superlek before both men arrived in ONE Championship.
Now, they find themselves in very different positions, and whilst he may not have been ready the first time around, the Brit has proven that he belongs at this level over the years.
With his bantamweight Muay Thai world championship on the line, he will look to close out ONE's return to the United States with the biggest win of his career.
