“I'm taking it fight by fight” - Adrian Lee happy to be guided by brother Christian Lee and father Ken
18-year-old Singaporean-American rising star 'The Phenom' Adrian Lee is gearing up for his second appearance in the world's largest martial arts organization when ONE Championship heads to Denver for its next blockbuster show.
Lee is one of the fastest rising stars in ONE, and is a younger brother to ONE lightweight and welterweight MMA world champion Christian 'The Warrior' Lee, as well as former ONE women's atomweight MMA world champion 'Unstoppable' Angela Lee.
As such, there's a lot of hype surrounding the youngster, and 'The Phenom' is doing his best to weed through all the hoopla and focus on his development as a fighter.
Speaking on a recent guest appearance on 4oz to Freedom, Lee says he is thankful for the support of his older brother, and his father Ken, who have served to guide him throughout his entire career.
'The Phenom' said:
"I don't really know right now [if I am ready to compete at the top level]. However, I'm taking it fight by fight. But whatever my dad, my brother, my head coaches thinks I'm ready, I'll take it on."
Wherever his career takes him, Lee can only promise one thing. He vows to always put on a show for the fans and leave it all in the cage.
The 18-year-old added:
"You guys should tune in to September 6th in Denver because although me and my siblings styles are similar, I plan to bring it up a notch. I plan to bring something new and exciting. I plan to showcase that."
