“I never give up” - Gustavo Balart plans to impress fans with his aggressive fighting style against Jarred Brooks
Third-ranked ONE Championship strawweight MMA contender and former Cuban Olympic wrestler 'El Gladiador' Gustavo Balart knows he is in for a tough test when he meets former divisional king 'The Monkey God' Jarred Brooks in the ring this weekend.
The 37-year-old veteran says he has the upper hand because he never gives up.
Speaking to ONE Championship in a recent interview, Balart talked about his come-forward fighting style, and says he wants to show fans his aggressive nature.
'El Gladiador' stated:
"I think the fans like that I am aggressive, always going forward, always looking forward to the fight and that is exciting for them. I never give up despite the disadvantages I face sometimes."
Balart is like a spark plug in the cage with his exciting and explosive offense. Brooks has the same kind of aggressive style, so it will be interesting to see how these two match up against each other.
