"I plan on just taking as many fights as I can" - Red-hot Adrian Lee says he'll sign the dotted line against anyone
Coming from a lineage of world champions, Adrian Lee believes he's not too young to have big ambitions.
The 19-year-old sensation began his MMA journey with ONE Championship before finishing his senior year of high school. With his career on the fast-track to a potential world title, there's simply nothing holding Adrian back than to accept his next big challenge.
Although nothing is set in stone yet, Adrian revealed the timeline of his likely return with Sports Illustrated this week:
"Right now after helping my brother prepare for this fight, I plan on staying very active, this year and the next year. And hopefully there's a title run soon, maybe in one or two years. But after that, I plan on just taking as many fights as I can, even when I'm the champ."
Adrian Lee's unyielding spirit stems from watching his older siblings take their MMA divisions by storm.
Christian Lee has held the ONE lightweight and welterweight belts since 2022 and will fight again on November 9 at ONE 169: Atlanta after a two-year layoff.
Angela Lee retired and vacated her atomweight throne to focus on her non-profit organization, Fight Story.
Tickets for ONE 169: Atlanta are available via Ticketmaster.
"I kept my word" - Adrian Lee lives up to the hype with a rapid-fast finish against Nico Cornejo
Adrian Lee is proud of his last performance at ONE 168: Denver earlier this month. He came in with confidence and momentum from his previous outing, and it seemed like he had just perfected any weaknesses he might have had.
Proud of what he and his team accomplished this year, Lee took to Instagram to celebrate his first-round submission against Cornejo and said:
"I kept my word and finished it faster than last time. 2-0 baby."
The full fight replay of ONE 168: Denver is available on demand to Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.
