"I really live in the gym" - Khamzat Chimaev gives tour of his makeshift house inside the gym

Khamzat Chimaev is currently undergoing a full-fledged training camp in Dubai, although he is yet to find a dancing partner for his next fight.

'Broz' has meteorically risen through the UFC welterweight ranks since debuting for the promotion in 2020. Right now, the Chechen is one of the most bankable stars in the premier American mixed martial arts promotion. However, the 28-year-old's life was very different just a few years ago.

In episode 1 of the Dubai Vlog on his YouTube channel, fans were given a sneak peek into Chimaev's humble beginnings. The vlog showcases the athlete's makeshift lodging set up at the Allstars Training Center in Stockholm, Sweden prior to his UFC stardom.

Khamzat Chimaev is currently 6-0 in the UFC. He is expected to make his next walk to the famed octagon in a Las Vegas fight card in March. However, it is not yet confirmed whether 'Borz' will be fighting at welterweight or middleweight.

Khamzat Chimaev's biggest UFC win so far

The Swedish fighter's most notable UFC win came against former welterweight title challenger Gilbert Burns at UFC 273. After three rounds of back-and-forth, Chechen was awarded a unanimous decision win at the event.

Burns is also the only top 10 opponent the 28-year-old has faced in his UFC career. 'Borz's win against the Brazilian didn't come without controversy. Many in the MMA community voiced that Gilbert Burns was robbed of a win at the event.

Gilbert Burns just got robbed!!! Burns won that fight! Even the crowd is booing. Such bullshit. That's a real robbery! UFC couldn't ruin it's future money plans. Chimaev lost. 10-1 #UFC273
Gilbert Burns got completely robbed of that.Burns lost round 1,I give Khamzat that. Round 2 went to Burns, CLEARLY. Round three was close but Burns got more significant strikes than Chimaev.
My card:
Round 1: 10-9 Chimaev
Round 2: 10- 9 Burns
Round 3: 10-9 Burns

Based on the official stats for the fight, while Burns enjoyed a slight advantage in terms of significant strikes, Chimaev had a clear edge in grappling scenarios, netting a total control time of 2 minutes and 23 seconds during the fight.

However, the Russian also dropped 'Durinho' once in the final minute of the first round.
