"I don't see a feeling-out process" - Alyse Anderson says Victoria Souza tiff will be contested at a fast and furious pace

Alyse Anderson is prepared to throw down from the moment the opening bell sounds at ONE 168. The American standout is hoping to get back in the win column when she makes her return on September 6 at the Ball Arena.

Standing in her way is Brazil's Victoria Souza, who comes into this fight off the back of a big submission victory last time out.

She was able to lock up a guillotine submission on Itsuki Hirata at ONE 167 to end the fight in just over 90 seconds.

Anderson took stock of this fight and how fast it all happened, making a note of the fact that Souza could start fast if she needs to.

With this in mind, she spoke in an interview with ONE Championship about how the elevation in Denver could also play into that:

"I feel like it's going to be pretty quick, especially because of the elevation. You just wanna get in and out. Watching her last fight, it was pretty quick, so I see that doesn't mind starting quickly as well. I don't really see a feeling-out process."

Alyse Anderson will be incredibly motivated to get this win

Alyse Anderson knows what a win could do for her at ONE 168 on September 6.

In the time since this fight was announced, Victoria Souza going and beating Itsuki Hirata only adds more stakes to their clash at the Ball Arena.

Not to mention the fact that 'Lil Savage' is yet to secure a win on home soil during her time in ONE Championship.

She came up short against Stamp Fairtex at ONE Fight Night 10 last year but now has the opportunity to put that behind her when fighting in Denver this time around.

This could be the most important fight of Anderson's career because of what a win would do for her stock.
