Brendan Schaub touches upon why Aljamain Sterling versus Sean O'Malley is the fight to make
Sean O'Malley pulled off a massive upset against Petr Yan at UFC 280 to propel himself from outside the top 10 to No.1 in the UFC bantamweight rankings.
O'Malley is primed to take on champion Aljamain Sterling, but reports of a title-bout return for former bantamweight champion Henry Cejudo have surfaced.
Former UFC heavyweight Brendan Schaub weighed in on why 'Sugar' deserves to fight for the title over 'Triple C.' In an episode of The Schaub Show, he said:
"Listen, we just had Aljamain on Food Truck and he was like, 'I need time off. I want to fight Sugar next.' That's the fight 'Sugar' wants next too. I don't see the UFC bending over backwards for Henry Cejudo to get in there and dethrone Aljamain Sterling anytime soon. Aljamain and 'Sugar's the fight."
Schaub then touched upon the short-sightedness of booking Cejudo to fight the champion, as his future in mixed martial arts is uncertain:
"I think Henry Cejudo will be the favorite in both [versus O'Malley and 'Aljo'] those matchups. [But] How long is Henry Cejudo gonna stick around? He's just gonna come in, dethrone Aljamain and then what? And then take out 'Sugar' and then dip out? It's very short-sighted."

Sean O'Malley weighs in on Artem Lobov suing Conor McGregor
Artem Lobov's decision to sue his long-time friend Conor McGregor has met with widespread criticism.
Sean O'Malley weighed in on the situation in the latest episode of TimboSugarShow on his YouTube channel. 'Sugar' recounted the favors McGregor has done Lobov over the years, such as getting him into the UFC. O'Malley expressed his distaste for Lobov's actions:
"See, Artem suing Conor; That's f**ked! I mean, we don't know the details. But just from what Conor seemed like he was doing for Artem, [McGregor] got him in the UFC, basically. [Lobov] had a sh** record. [McGregor] got him in the UFC, got him fights, got him popular."
Lobov believes that he was instrumental in launching McGregor's 'Proper Number 12' Irish whiskey brand and wants in on the proceeds of its sale.
