“I have soft wrestling ones” - Anatoly Malykhin reveals his biggest weakness as an MMA fighter

Reigning and undisputed ONE heavyweight, light heavyweight, and middleweight MMA world champion 'Sladkiy' Anatoly Malykhin doesn't appear to have many weaknesses.

He has concussive knockout power laiden in his fists, a granite chin, and a Russian wrestling pedigree that gives him a dominant fighting style.

But the 38-year-old will be the first to tell you that his fighting style isn't perfect by any means. In fact, Malykhin knows exactly where he's lacking, and that's why he's hard at work plugging the holes in his game to constantly improve.

In a recent interview with Red Corner MMA, Malykhin reveals his one weakness.

'Sladkiy' stated:

"I want to learn to kick better. High kicks are hard for me because my joints hurt, but low kicks add to my variety. I’ve been conditioning my legs because I have soft wrestling ones. They bruise easily because I’m not used to kicks. When I get to Thailand, I’ll start working on my low kicks. I like them. I see how [Justin] Gaethje as a wrestler learned to strike and incorporate low kicks, and Dan Henderson, he’d hook you and then, BAM, puts you to sleep."

Will Anatoly Malykhin come into his next fight with a better kicking game? Fans won't have to wait long to find out.
