“I have someone good to fight” - Superbon welcomes Jo Nattawut challenge at ONE Friday Fights 81
ONE interim featherweight kickboxing world champion Superbon of Thailand is always looking for the stiffest challenges in ONE Championship.
The 34-year-old Superbon Training Camp founder says his competitive side gets going whenever he's faced with a worthy opponent. And he has one now in former ONE world title challenger 'Smokin' Jo Nattawut who he battles next week.
Speaking to South China Morning Post in a recent interview, Superbon talked about his upcoming fight with his Thai countryman.
The Superbon Training Camp proponent said:
"I feel good. I always feel good when I have someone good to fight. Jo is going to be a good one that I need to fight. So I’m looking forward for that."
Interim featherweight kickboxing king Superbon is set to lock horns with 'Smokin' Jo Nattawut in a three-round Muay Thai contest.
The two do battle at ONE Friday Fights 81: Superbon vs. Nattawut, which broadcasts live from the historic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand on Friday, September 27.

Kickboxing star Superbon thrilled to tap back into his Muay Thai roots against Jo Nattawut: "I love it"
Superbon has spent a lot of time competing at the highest levels of kickboxing, but he will always be a Muay Thai fighter at heart.
The 34-year-old Thai star returned to Muay Thai in a December 2023 loss to reigning featherweight Muay Thai king Tawanchai PK Saenchai. And now he's back to Muay Thai against 'Smokin' Jo Nattawut at ONE Friday Fights 81 next week.
Superbon told SCMP MMA:
"I love it. I feel good with Muay Thai because I was born from Muay Thai. [It's] something I forgot because I fought in kickboxing for a long time. But when I started fighting against Tawanchai, it felt good because it’s more fun."
