"I still have a lot of time" - Surging Nabil Anane says he's in 'no rush' for bantamweight Muay Thai title shot
Nabil Anane is not in a hurry to climb to the top of the bantamweight Muay Thai division.
At just 20 years old, he has got time on his side and is looking to use that to his advantage by taking things step by step.
The rising star returned at ONE Friday Fights 81 this past weekend where he defeated Soe Lin Oo via unanimous decision.
That makes it five in a row for the towering contender since he suffered a defeat on his ONE debut when facing Superlek.
Despite dominating both of his last two opponents, he is still focused on gaining more experience and evolving as a striker rather than targeting the world championship.
Anane spoke in a post-fight interview with Nick Atkin at Lumpinee Stadium about potentially fighting a fellow ranked competitor but keeping things ticking. He said:
"For the next fight, I'm not sure, maybe I'll fight one of the guys in the rankings. But when I say slowly, I mean no rush, I still have a lot of time."

Nabil Anane is a serious problem for bantamweight division
Nabil Anane showed once again at ONE Friday Fights 81 why he is such a problem for this weight class right now.
Even against an aggressive opponent like Myanmar's Soe Lin Oo, he was always able to keep him on the outside thanks to his huge reach and size advantage.
When his opponent did come in close to try and land strikes of his own, he was met with elbows and knees that acted as a stern warning.
From an early stage in this fight, it was clear that Nabil's opponent was beginning to run out of game plan options, and with the threat that was coming back at him, he couldn't risk throwing caution to the wind.
