“I think I deserve a spot in the rankings” - Jeremy Miado eyes top five berth by beating Hiroba Minowa

Although Jeremy Miado is a veteran, he knows that he's got what it takes to reach the top five and make his way to challenge the strawweight MMA throne in the world's largest martial arts organizaion.

Returning into an epic strawweight clash against Japanese ground specialist Hiroba Minowa, Miado knows that he might get the opportunity to take his opponent's place in the top five ranks with a decisive win.

This won't be an easy feat, since Minowa is known for his skills in the ground. But, Miado believes that his striking skills would be a crucial factor on his victory, especially in taking his rival's spot in the rankings.

Speaking to The MMA Superfan, Miado elaborated his chance to take the top five berth:

"Even though I lost my last three fights I think I deserve a spot in the rankings if I beat Minowa since he’s ranked fourth. Before my slump, I won four straight matches all coming by way of finishes. I think I deserve it if I get this done."

Jeremy Miado can't wait to end losing streak when facing Hiroba Minowa

Coming off the worst stretch of one's career is not easy, but if there's anyone who's excited to do that, it would be Filipino veteran Jeremy Miado.

After three losses against formidable fighters like Mansur Malachiev, Lito Adiwang, and Keito Yamakita, Miado knew he had to do something to get back into the winners' circle, and he's got a chance to do it in his next clash against the Japanese star Hiroba Minowa.

In a recent interview with The MMA Superfan, he added:

"We're talking about my career here. That's what this fight means for me. I'm gonna give it my all, you're gonna see it all. I'm not going to lose here."
