"I've got years of experience" - Denis Puric says age factor gives him a trump card against Rodtang
Denis Puric believes that he has the experience advantage over his opponent at ONE 167.
'The Bosnian Menace' is certainly no newcomer to the striking world but he believes that he is just scratching the surface of what he is capable of.
With back-to-back wins under his belt, Puric hopes that he can keep this momentum going forward into what will be the biggest fight of his career.
He let it be no secret that he had one opponent on his mind both before and after he fought and defeated Jacob Smith.
Denis Puric wanted the opportunity to compete against Rodtang and he got exactly what he was asking for.
The two men are set to meet in a flyweight kickboxing bout in the co-main event of ONE 167 where Puric isn't worried about the vast high-level experience that his opponent has accumulated during his career.
Despite being the older of the two men, he hopes that this can become an advantage rather than a setback.
In an interview with ONE Championship ahead of fight night, Puric spoke about using his age to his advantage:
"Although I'm much older than Rodtang, that age will give me something else, you know - experience. I have it, I've got years of experience so I know this fight will go my way."

Denis Puric will not be intimidated by Rodtang
Denis Puric isn't going to back down from any man who steps inside the Circle with him.
In fact, the aggressive style of the ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion suits him well as he plans to meet fire with fire at the Impact Arena.
Other competitors would crumble under the pressure of both the extra attention that comes with fighting 'The Iron Man', but also his bullying style of walking down opponents and unleashing combinations on them.
For Puric, this only makes the fight more exciting as he looks to beat the Thai superstar in kickboxing and show that he belongs at the highest level.
ONE 167 will air live from the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand, next Friday, June 7. North American fans with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription can catch the entire card live in U.S. primetime for free.
