“I've waited a long time to hear those words” - Emotional Seksan on receiving $50K bonus for his demolition of Liam Harrison at ONE 168

35-year-old Muay Thai veteran 'The Man Who Yields To No One' Seksan Or Kwanmuang was overcome with emotion following his epic showdown with British combat sports icon 'Hitman' Liam Harrison at ONE 168: Denver last weekend.

Seksan delivered a stunning performance, stopping Harrison in round two of a scheduled three-round catchweight Muay Thai contest.

The event took place at the Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado, and Seksan was delighted to get the chance to perform live for the very first time in front of an American audience.

But not only did he claim victory, Seksan also took home a hefty $50,000 performance bonus for his efforts.

Speaking to veteran ONE Championship broadcast announcer Mitch 'The Dragon' Chilson in the ring after his fight, Seksan wanted to express his gratitude to the people who helped him achieve greatness.

'The Man Who Yields To No One' stated:

"First of all, I want to say that this bonus means a lot to me. I've waited a long time to hear those words, a portion of the money that I'm going to be receiving today I'm going to be using to support my friends and the students of Muay Thai camps back home. I want to thank all the fans of the world, my team and most importantly, Chatri Sityodtong for giving me that bonus. I love you Chatri."

Seksan Or Kwanmuang added:

"I definitely can't forget to thank my mom and dad. They always taught me to do all I can in the ring, I need to thank them, and when I'm done with this, I'm definitely going home to let them know the good news."

What's next for Seksan Or Kwanmuang?

Thankfully, Seksan is not without options for his next fight, as ONE Championship is teeming with the best Muay Thai talent from all across the globe.

However, Seksan's best matchups appear to be south of bantamweight, in the flyweight realm.

Guys like Jacob Smith, who faces Rodtang at ONE 169: Atlanta in November, and the wily Denis Puric, should give Seksan a run for his money.
