“I view him as a challenge for myself” - Veteran Nong-O Hama hyped to face young Kiamran Nabati

Longtime former ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world champion and all-around Thai legend Nong-O Hama is looking to continue his hot streak and make another run at reclaiming his lost gold.

The 37-year-old Nong-O suffered back-to-back knockout losses at the hands of Jonathan Haggerty and Nico Carrillo in 2023. However, he took home a three-round unanimous decision win over Thai compatriot Kulabdam Sor Jor Piek Uthai earlier this year to get back in the win column.

Now, the legendary Nak Muay is getting set to make it two in a row by facing a young gun in Russia's Kiamran Nabati.

Speaking to the South China Morning Post in a recent interview, Nong-O talked about Nabati and had nothing but praise for the 29-year-old Archangel Michel representative.

Nong-O said:

"I think Kiamran is great. He's a great fighter, and also his winning streak is pretty good. I view him as a challenge for myself because I also won a great winning streak as well. I don't think this fight would be any problem."

Needless to say, fans simply cannot wait for the return of Nong-O Hama to the ONE Championship ring.

But the 37-year-old veteran will need to be on his A-game if he wants to continue his resurgence.
