“I wanna feel the pain” - Aung La N Sang ready to go to war in the trenches with unbeaten Shamil Erdogan
Former ONE middleweight and light heavyweight MMA world champion 'The Burmese Python' Aung La N Sang of Myanmar knows what he's up against when he takes on unbeaten Turkish sensation Shamil Erdogan early next month.
Erdogan is one of the most highly regarded up-and-coming talents from the region. He has a complete striking and grappling arsenal, particularly on the mats. That being said, Aung La N Sang says he wants to bring the fight to Erdogan and is looking to discover for himself what all the fuss is about.
Speaking to ONE Championship in a recent interview, Aung La N Sang is unfazed against an undefeated opponent and says he wants all the smoke.
'The Burmese Python' stated:
"I think he’s gonna dictate where the fight is going to happen, but we’re gonna fight. I wanna make it a hard, hard fight. I wanna feel every second of this. I wanna feel the pain and everything."
'The Burmese Python' Aung La N Sang is set to lock horns with Shamil Erdogan in a three-round middleweight MMA contest. The two lock horns at ONE 168: Denver, which will be broadcast live from the Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado, on Friday, September 6th.
Fans in the United States and Canada can catch all the action live and absolutely free on Amazon Prime Video. Limited tickets to watch are available via Ticketmaster.
