Israel Adesanya sends ominous "horror movie" warning to Alex Pereira ahead of UFC 281
Israel Adesanya has vowed to make his UFC 281 clash against Alex Pereira a horror movie. While 'The Last Stylebender' has been less aggressive and on the defensive in all of his previous fights, he plans to slightly tweak his approach this time. The UFC middleweight champion said in a recent interview with TMZ Sports:
"I wanna make this a horror movie. I'm gonna keep that theme. I'm gonna make this a horror movie."
Adesanya was also asked how he expects the fight to play out. According to 'The Last Stylebender', he wants to be the first person Pereira sees when he wakes up after getting knocked out. The 33-year-old said:
"I wanna be the first person he sees when he wakes up. I wanna make sure I'm right in his line of sight so when he wakes up, he's looking at me. And then looking at the ref. I wanna be the first person he sees when he wakes up. That's how I see this fight going."

Israel Adesanya plans to fight Alex Pereira like Floyd Mayweather fought Manny Pacquiao
Israel Adesanya's upcoming clash against Alex Pereira is crucial for the UFC middleweight champion owing to the history between them. Adesanya suffered two kickboxing losses against Pereira, one of which remains his lone KO loss to date.
'The Last Stylebender' is unbeaten at middleweight so far, with his only MMA loss coming against Jan Blachowicz in a failed bid to capture the light-heavyweight strap. With so much at stake, Adesanya plans to fight Pereira as Floyd Mayweather fought Manny Pacquiao in 2015.
Mayweather roped in a unanimous decision win over 'Pacman' after going the distance of 12 rounds. 'Money' claimed that he had gone into the bout with the feeling that it was the most important fight to win in his entire career. Adesanya now plans on inculcating the same mindset:
"He [Mayweather] said, 'Got up from the seat for every round'. He always just thought like, ‘Forget every other fight. If there’s ever a fight I have to win, it’s this one.' I feel that. That’s me right now. If there’s ever a fight, I have to win, it’s this one. That’s why everything is different this camp. There’s no excuses. If there’s ever a fight I have to win, it’s this one.”
