“I have some other weapons” - Prajanchai excited to prove he’s the better man vs Jonathan Di Bella at ONE Friday Fights 68
Prajanchai PK Saenchai is knocking at the door of greatness.
The Thai legend is going head-to-head with former ONE kingpin Jonathan Di Bella at the main event of ONE Friday Fights 68 on Friday, June 28, where he is trying to make history as ONE's two-sport world champion.
This would not be the first time they're scheduled to meet each other. Previously, Di Bella was slated to defend his belt at ONE Friday Fights 58, but he was hospitalized a day before, missed his hydration test, stripped off from his belt and was unable to fight.
And now, their time has come. Speaking to ONE Championship recently, Prajanchai said that he is grateful for the opportunity, and he will not take it for granted.
“After that day, I didn’t think I’d have the chance to fight him again. When I found out he was my next opponent, I was happy to finally get a fight with him."
He added:
“I think I’m going to throw a variety of punches. And I have some other weapons for him, but please wait and see in the ring.”
ONE Friday Fights 68 will air live in Asian primetime. Check your local listings at onefc.com for the availability of the event in your region.
Jonathan Di Bella has potential opponents if he nails victory against Prajanchai
Jonathan Di Bella and Prajanchai PK Saenchai have a score to settle in the main event of ONE Friday Fights 68 card inside the legendary Lumpinee Boxing Stadium on Friday, June 28.
While Di Bella is trying to reclaim the ONE strawweight kickboxing world title he once held, Prajanchai wants to make history as ONE's two-sport world champion.
Nonetheless, the Canadian-American will have several options if he manages to snatch this opportunity and becomes a victor.
First, if he wins by a very close margin, he can fight Prajanchai again in an immediate rematch. He could also face another contender, like Chinese phenom Zhang Peimian.
