“I won’t be young forever” - Danny Kingad says he can’t afford to waste his prime athletic years
Third-ranked ONE Championship flyweight MMA contender and former ONE world title challenger 'The King' Danny Kingad of the Philippines feels that time is of the essence as he makes his return to the ONE ring next month.
The 27-year-old Lions Nation MMA co-founder says he is just entering his physical prime as a fighter and wants to spend his best years competing against the elite in the world's largest martial arts organization.
Speaking to Sportskeeda MMA in a recent interview, Kingad talked about making the most of his time as a professional mixed martial artist.
'The King' said:
"Yes, I’m still saving up and I plan to venture into business later on. It would be such a waste if I just spent everything I earn from MMA freely without thought. I won’t be young forever, so I need to plan these things accordingly."
Kingad is next set to face former flyweight king 'Mikinho' Adriano Moraes of Brazil in a highly anticipated rematch of epic proportions.
The two go to war at ONE 169: Malykhin vs. Reug Reug on Prime Video, which broadcasts live from the historic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand on Friday, Nov. 8.
Fans in the United States and Canada can catch all the action live and absolutely free on Amazon Prime Video.
