Ian Garry talks about his favorite Conor McGregor moment of all time

UFC middleweight Ian Garry has been vocal about his love for Conor McGregor. Now, the prospect has revealed his opinion on the greatest moment of the Irishman's career.

The 25-year-old has been signed to the UFC for a little over a year now but has already showcased just how good he can be when the octagon door closes. With three straight wins against some tough talent, the Dublin native has set himself up to become another success story hailing from the small country of Ireland.

During a recent episode of UFC Connected, Ian Garry broke down his favorite moment of Conor McGregor's career:

"When Conor McGregor made history and became the first UFC double champ. I remember sitting down, at my best mate's house, on the couch absolutely buzzing waiting to watch this fight... Conor spoke about it in the lead up to the fight [about] how he was gonna make history, and when that man says something, it's hard to doubt him."

As stated by 'The Future' and many others before him, McGregor's performance against Eddie Alvarez at UFC 205 is considered the single greatest display of his decorated career in mixed martial arts.

Check out what Ian Garry had to say about his idol's best moments in the sport in the video below:

How did Conor McGregor's performance at UFC 205 alter his career?

Conor McGregor was on top of the world following UFC 205, but capturing his second title and being catapulted into superstardom may have hindered his legacy inside the octagon.

Following his beatdown of Eddie Alvarez, the Irishman took a hiatus from MMA to focus on his boxing aspirations, spending almost two years away from the cage during his prime.

While his name value and megastar stature didn't die down, his ability to compete at his best seemingly did, with McGregor winning just once since his beautifully violent display against 'The Underground King' all the way back in 2016.
