ONE bantamweight Muay Thai and kickboxing world champion Jonathan Haggerty captured the attention of ONE Championship fans in his promotional debut in January 2019 against Joseph Lasiri.

Haggerty showcased his mastery of 'The Art of Eight Limbs' against 'The Hurricane' by landing a tomahawk elbow that sent Lasiri crashing to the canvas.

Lasiri would get up from that knockdown and continue fighting, but 'The General' would not let up from his onslaught and eventually claimed the unanimous decision victory.

Haggerty will look to have another show-stopping outing at ONE 168: Denver on September 6 as he defends the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world championship against flyweight kickboxing king Superlek Kiatmoo9 inside the Ball Arena.


Jonathan Haggerty hungry to beat Superlek in long-awaited rematch

Jonathan Haggerty has revenge on his mind ahead of his defense of the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world championship against Superlek at ONE 168 after losing to him via TKO in 2018 outside of ONE Championship.

During an interview on the ONE on SK podcast, Haggerty said:

"Everybody knows that Superlek is one of the pound-for-pound greats, and I'm just happy to be able to fight him and get revenge back after the last fight. That's all that matters."
