Ilia Topuria tears into "b*m" Belal Muhammad as feud intensifies, questions UFC fighters having a "street, gangster attitude"
Ilia Topuria has reignited his feud with welterweight champion Belal Muhammad. The two titleholders have been engaged in a heated war of words, with Muhammad recently responding to Topuria’s trash talk by threatening to slap him if they were to meet in person.
Appearing on the Remember The Show podcast, Muhammad dismissed Topuria’s comments, accusing him of unoriginality in his insults and mimicking other fighters. Muhammad went as far as to mock Topuria’s tattoos and accuse him of copying UFC stars like Conor McGregor and Colby Covington.
'El Matador' didn’t hold back in response. During an interview with KOlmeneroMMA, the featherweight champion said:
"If Belal remains champion, it would be a walk in the park for me to go up and win the welterweight title... He's a b*m. Really, really bad... This morning I woke up and saw him say, 'If I see [Topuria] I'm going to slap him.' I'll give you a slap, man. Shut up. It's like everyone has a street gangstar attitude. Sometimes I wonder what are they doing in the UFC?"

Ilia Topuria will look to make his first title defense at UFC 308
Ilia Topuria will look to defend his featherweight title for the first time against former champion Max Holloway in what is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated UFC matchups of the year.
Topuria captured the title in February with a stunning second-round knockout of Alexander Volkanovski, becoming the first Georgian and Spanish champion in UFC history. Undefeated in the UFC with a 7-0 record inside the octagon, Topuria has quickly risen to the top of the sport.
The showdown between the undefeated Topuria and the battle-hardened Holloway promises fireworks. Topuria’s rise has been swift and dominant, while Holloway’s experience and durability make him a formidable challenger. The two have already exchanged words, adding fuel to an already electrifying contest.
