"Ill-mannered first-grader" - Valentina Shevchenko unleashes rare trash-talking persona in fiery response to Manon Fiorot's retirement threat

UFC women’s flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko delivered a rare dose of trash talk after Manon Fiorot threatened to end her career. Fiorot, who is currently undefeated in the UFC recently called out Shevchenko on X, urging the champion to agree to a title fight:

"@BulletValentina stop making people wait. Let's do it soon enough so I can send you to retirement and move on."

Shevchenko quickly fired back, taking the challenge to a new level by proposing a high-stakes stipulation:

Although the promotion has not yet officially announced a fight between the two, a potential matchup between Shevchenko and Fiorot would undoubtedly be an exciting encounter.

Valentina Shevchenko shows interest in a super fight with strawweight champion Zhang Weili

Valentina Shevchenko has her sights set on a potential super fight with strawweight champion Zhang Weili. 'Bullet' confirmed her interest in the matchup during an appearance on The Ariel Helwani Show.

Shevchenko stated:

"I'm here. I'm ready to fight anyone, You know myself. Once the UFC a fight and I agree to it. I never decline any names, so whatever they [UFC] have in mind, whatever they think is going to be like super fight or whatever, yeah, I'm up to it. I don't care. I'll fight anyone anywhere." Her words hint at a bold ambition to take on Weili, a reigning strawweight champion since UFC 281 who has since successfully defended her title twice.

The possibility of this clash comes at a time when the strawweight division lacks a definitive top contender, opening the door for a high-profile battle between two of the sport’s most dominant athletes.
