Charles Oliveira recently announced the birth of his second child, a son named Dominic. The former UFC lightweight champion also has a daughter, born in 2017, who frequently appears in his social media posts.
The Brazilian took to Instagram and shared pictures with his newborn son and girlfriend Vitoria Brum. The caption to the post read:
"Today was the day that God chose for the birth of my prince @dominicoliveirabs_. I just have to thank God @vitoriabrum_ for everything and for this wonderful moment. I love you my prince and if your dad is a lion, you are Simba."

Having made his UFC debut in 2011 as a 21-year-old, Oliveira went through several ups and downs in his career. However, he switched things up and went on to amass an impressive 11-fight win streak, which included winning the 155-pound gold. The 34-year-old has attributed this success to the birth of his daughter.
Heading into the UFC 300 showdown against Arman Tsarukyan in April, Oliveira had announced that he and his wife were expecting the birth of a baby boy. In an interview with the promotion ahead of the fight, Oliveira said that he was expecting a similar motivation boost with the birth of his son:
“I already have a daughter and my son is coming; this motivates me so much. Everyone knows that some years ago, when my daughter was born, I had a winning streak, so now that my son Dominic is on the way, I believe the same can happen.” [H/T UFC.com]
Unfortunately for Oliveira, he suffered a split-decision defeat against Tsarukyan. 'Do Bronx' will return to competition against Michael Chandler in the UFC 309 co-main event. The pair previously competed in the vacant lightweight title fight at UFC 262 after Khabib Nurmagomedov's retirement and Oliveira won the title by a second-round TKO.
