Chael Sonnen shares fresh perspective on Conor McGregor's potential return to the UFC

Conor McGregor's highly anticipated UFC comeback continues to be a subject of speculation. Despite the Irish fighter's vocal desire to return in December, UFC CEO Dana White has publicly ruled out a fight this year. However, former UFC contender Chael Sonnen has offered a fresh perspective on the situation.

Sonnen believes McGregor might be more serious about his comeback than previously thought. He suggests that 'The Notorious' is seeking the UFC's approval for a return, a departure from the fighter's typical "I'm in control" narrative:

"Dana has been very clear in the last two weeks that Conor McGregor is not fighting this year. [Dana] said, ‘He's [McGregor] not fighting this year but he [McGregor] is blowing me up he does want to fight in December, we'll see what happens. If I get a right sign I will make an announcement."

He further added:

"I think the story of Conor has being a little bit mold in this way I believe him I believe that he wants to fight I believe he is going behind the scenes. So he loves to faint power. He loves to let people know, 'It's all my decision.' I believe he has humbled himself to say I need the organization to sign off on this"
