As for his future in the UFC, McGregor has addressed his return to the octagon and hope to fulfill his contractual obligations. He expressed a desire to face Michael Chandler in a highly anticipated matchup next year while speaking to Ariel Helwani for DAZN:
"[Michael Chandler] got re-matched. It is what it is... Whenever [my return] is and wherever it is, I will be 100 percent ready... It does not matter [who I fight]. As long as I can get back... I'd like it to be Chandler. I'd like to get that squared away, so I wish him well against Oliveira. But let's see how it goes."

Renato Moicano weighs in on the possibility of a potential fight with Conor McGregor
Renato Moicano has expressed his thoughts on the possibility of facing Conor McGregor in the octagon. Following his impressive victory over Benoit Saint Denis at UFC Paris, Moicano was asked about the prospect of fighting the former two-division champion.
While Moicano acknowledged McGregor's immense contributions to the sport of MMA, he suggested that a fight with the Irish superstar might not be feasible. The Brazilian believes that McGregor's focus has shifted away from fighting and toward other business ventures, making it unlikely that he will return to the cage.
Moicano also cautioned against waiting for a potential McGregor fight, citing the example of Michael Chandler, who was eagerly anticipating a matchup with the former champion but has yet to receive the opportunity:
"I would not wait to fight McGregor because, like Chandler, it's just a trap right now. I think McGregor makes more money outside fighting. So, I don't think he wants to go to cage to somebody that is ready to kill somebody for money."
