In Photos: Khabib Nurmagomedov jet-skis, works out, and eats scrumptious fast-food during wholesome Dubai vacation with friends
Khabib Nurmagomedov is enjoying life as a retired fighter, having recently vacationed in Dubai. However, he did not travel alone. The trip, which saw Nurmagomedov ride jet-skis, eat fast food and workout, featured several familiar faces from Nurmagomedov's camp.
His cousin Usman Nurmagomedov, who is the reigning Bellator lightweight champion, and their AKA head coach Javier Mendez, were both seen with 'The Eagle,' who shared pictures of his vacation on his official Instagram page.

Ever since walking away from life as a fighter, Nurmagomedov has enjoyed himself, having to no longer subject himself to the high-stress demands of weight-cutting and training. That isn't to say he no longer spends time in the gym, as one of the pictures from his recent Instagram post features a loaded barbell in a gym.
However, he is no longer training to compete. Instead, the former UFC lightweight champion now trains to maintain his sharpness and overall fitness. He has also ballooned in size, as he no longer has to maintain a trim physique that's within a reasonable range from a 155-pound frame.

Despite numerous attempts to coax him back into the octagon, most notably from Dana White and Conor McGregor, 'The Eagle' has remained steadfast, refusing to walk back on his retirement like so many other fighters have. Even a hypothetical grappling match with Georges St-Pierre wasn't enough to entice him.
For now, the most that UFC fans see of him is as a cornerman for both Islam Makhachev and Belal Muhammad, who are his most successful pupils.
Khabib Nurmagomedov retired over four years ago
Khabib Nurmagomedov is among the few MMA fighters who retired at the peak of his success. At 29-0, with three defenses of his UFC lightweight title, including submissions over Conor McGregor, Dustin Poirier, and Justin Gaethje, he made the decision to walk away from fighting.

His retirement was announced in his post-fight interview at UFC 254 on Oct. 24, 2020. Nurmagomedov's retirement came in the wake of his father's tragic death, which prompted him to make good on a promise he had made to his mother: that he would not fight without his father by his side.
