Pimblett made a strong statement that night as he ran through Green and submitted him with a triangle choke in the opening round of the fight. 'The Baddy' earned a 'Performance of the Night' bonus, earning an additional $50,000 for his efforts.
With the victory, he is now 6-0 in the UFC and is riding an eight-fight win streak in his overall professional career. His overall record stands at 22-3.

UFC lightweight king Islam Makhachev recently spoke about the possiblity of defending his belt against Paddy Pimblett. During a recent media interaction, Makhachev was asked about a potential fight with 'The Baddy' later down the road.
The Dagestani responded by saying that if Pimblett managed to win his next few fights and earned a title shot, he would be willing to face him. Makhachev said:
"When he [Pimblett] deserves, why not? If he [wins] the next couple of [matches]. When he's gonna be like top ten, why not? Because I don't have some exciting fights in my division. We need some new name."
