In Photos: Renato Moicano shares snaps of Paris trip after TKO win, countryman Alexandre Pantoja reacts with a message to former's wife
Renato Moicano made it clear in his post-fight interview that he appreciates France and its people, despite claiming that the government is " fu*king horrendous." The Brazilian's recent trip to France proved to be a triumphant experience, as he secured a TKO (doctor stoppage) victory over Benoit Saint Denis in the main event of UFC Paris.
The No.11-ranked lightweight contender showcased his well-rounded skills, dominating the bout from the onset and demolishing Saint Denis with vicious elbows. His relentless pressure left no room for recovery, as the referee stepped in to stop the contest before the third round.
Moicano's love for France and its culture was evident in an Instagram post where he shared snapshots from his trip. The post included pictures of his visit to the Eiffel Tower and 'The Triumph of David', an oil painting by Bartolomeo Manfredi that depicts a moment from the First Book of Samuel in the Bible.
He captioned the images with the triumphant phrase, “Vim, vi e venci!” which translates to “I came, I saw, and I won!” in Portuguese.

UFC flyweight champion Alexandre Pantoja congratulated Moicano's wife Priscila Van Der Broocke for "shaping" him into a man:
"You did much more than that, you conquered! Watching the whole trajectory of this victory was impressive, only made me a fan of your work and the person you are! Congratulations @priscila_broocke for shaping this kid into a man!"
With the victory over Saint Denis, Moicano reversed roles by responding to Paddy Pimblett's callout. Moicano discouraged the UK star from accepting the fight, warning of severe punishment if they squared off. Moicano, seeking more exposure and a potential coaching role on 'The Ultimate Fighter', also expressed interest in fighting No.5-ranked contender Dan Hooker.
