Valentina Shevchenko vows to finish Alexa Grasso in potential trilogy

Valentina Shevchenko recently shared her on a potential trilogy fight with current flyweight champion Alexa Grasso. The former champion emphasized her desire to avoid a decision this time, aiming for a definitive finish.

Speaking to MMA Junkie's Mike Bohn, 'Bullet' said:

"I'm just focusing on my performance and be more faster, be stronger and definitely it's a thing I don't want to leave the decision for the judges... Definitely, I will focus more on the finish. For me, it [doesn't] matter what kind of finish, striking or submission. It has to be done. I'm focusing more on those things." [MMA Junkie]

Shevchenko and Grasso first met in March 2023 at UFC 285, where Grasso pulled off a stunning upset via submission in the fourth round. The rematch at Noche UFC last September proved to be a much closer fight, ending in a split draw. Shevchenko appears determined to settle the score decisively in a potential third encounter.
