Ali Abdelaziz hits back at Conor McGregor for Twitter tirade at Nurmagomedov clan
Ali Abdelaziz fired back at Conor McGregor on Twitter after the Irish superstar went on a long tirade against the Nurmagomedov clan. The Egyptian MMA manager currently has Khabib Nurmagomedov and Islam Makhachev among several others under his management.
Addressing McGregor's Twitter rampage and derogatory posts against Khabib Nurmagomedov, Abdelaziz tweeted out a reply to one of the Irishman's posts:
"Is your ex-boyfriend taking you to court? Because you stole his idea, he was the reason you got smashed, this is called karma. You guys all belong together."
Referencing the ongoing legal dispute between Conor McGregor and Artem Lobov, Abdelaziz also taunted the UFC megastar about Lobov being the reason behind the whole McGregor-Nurmagomedov rivalry.
Even though it's been more than four years since Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov fought inside the octagon, the animosity between the two superstars still lingers on. 'Notorious' recently went on to post several tweets about the infamous post-fight brawl after the main event of UFC 229.
'Notorious' has been out of action in the octagon since his loss to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in 2021, losing the trilogy fight against 'The Diamond' after suffering a fractured leg at the end of the first round.
However, it does seem likely that the biggest superstar in the UFC will make a comeback next year.
Conor McGregor makes Joe Rogan his target on Twitter and calls him a "fool"
Conor McGregor decided not to spare Joe Rogan his wrath as the Irishman took offense to Rogan pointing out some illegal strikes that McGregor landed on Khabib Nurmagomedov in their fight at UFC 229.
In an audio posted on Twitter, 'Notorious' called Rogan a "fool" and a "tick":
“That was an illegal knee on the head of a grounded opponent. Shut up, Joe. You little fool, you. What are you talking about? Smash this and smash that. What was smashed was my knee into his f**king eye socket, yeah? Sh*t. 'That’s a knee to a grounded opponent. Call the cops.' F**king tick, you.”
McGregor further posted a photo of Donald Cerrone, whom he beat via TKO in 2020, asking Rogan if the comedian had ever seen him in that state of damage.
The poster boy of the UFC is currently recovering from a leg injury he sustained in his trilogy fight against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264.
However, with fighters like Michael Chandler challenging him to a bout on his UFC return, it does seem likely that the Irish star will make his comeback sooner rather than later. He even confirmed his intention to enter the USADA testing pool for this very purpose.
