Is Kamala Harris going on Joe Rogan's podcast? Spokesperson confirms status
Kamala Harris' potential appearance on Joe Rogan's JRE (Joe Rogan Experience) podcast has been a hotly discussed topic in the MMA, political and broader pop culture realms as of late. A spokesperson from the Harris campaign has now addressed rumors suggesting that Harris will make an appearance on the podcast.
The Democratic Party's Harris is the current vice president and a part of current POTUS (President of the United States) Joe Biden's cabinet. Harris is the Democrats' presidential hopeful for the upcoming elections, clashing against the Republican Party's presidential hopeful and former POTUS, Donald Trump.
Speaking to Chris Hayes on MSNBC on Thursday, Harris' spokesperson Ian Sams suggested she wouldn't appear on JRE before the elections. When asked if Harris would appear on Rogan's podcast, Sams responded by stating:
"Well, yeah. I think that the vice president is happy to go anywhere and anyplace to talk to a broad segment of the country. We talked with Rogan and his team about the podcast. Unfortunately, it isn't going to work out right now because of the scheduling of this period of the campaign."

Joe Rogan on Kamala Harris being coached well against Donald Trump
For years, Joe Rogan has directed praise and criticism toward various socio-political personalities in America, including Donald Trump and Kamala Harris. Rogan has often called out Harris' policies, but he notably came to her defense by stating that she's "not dumb" and has been under immense pressure as the vice president in the Biden administration.
Furthermore, Joe Rogan heaped praise on the Kamala Harris campaign after Harris' performance in her debate against Donald Trump in Sept. 2024. On an episode of the JRE podcast last month, Rogan highlighted that after Joe Biden dropped out of the presidential race, the Democrats have worked quite well with coaching Harris and preparing her a campaign.
"Whoever's helping her, whoever's coaching her, whoever's the puppet master running the strings, you did a f**king amazing job."
