"No, not Vikings...It's good. I still watching but have a couple more, so do like the show."

Islam Makhachev reveals Tony Ferguson to be his dream fight

Islam Makhachev has been ruling the lightweight division since 2022. He defeated Charles Oliveira at UFC 280 to win the title and has since defended the belt thrice. He already has fighters like Alexander Volkanovski and Dustin Poirier.

In a recent interview with YouTuber Adin Ross, the reigning UFC lightweight champion revealed his dream fight when asked about it. He expressed his wish to fight prime Tony Ferguson. 'El Cucuy' was supposed to fight his mentor Khabib Nurmagomedov, but the fight was canceled on multiple occasions.

Terming him one of the "top athletes" in his prime, Islam Makhachev said:

"My brother Khabib was supposed to fight Tony Ferguson like five times, they both have injuries, the fight was canceled five times and my dream to fight this guy at that moment. Because, I always was with Khabib when he had an injury, I asked my manager can I fight Tony? And Tony at that moment was a very good athlete, very good fighter, he has almost...more than ten fight-win streak, this is one of the fights which I wanted to fight."
