The Cost of Carelessness: Islam Makhachev's Team Faces Consequences

Islam Makhachev, known for his fierce fighting spirit, took a break from training to enjoy the Rottnest island's many attractions. He was spotted riding a bike, soaking up the sun, and spending quality time with his team. However, amidst all the fun, the team found themselves in a potentially compromising situation when images of them feeding the quokkas made their way to social media.

In an effort to avoid any potential penalties, Makhachev quickly deleted the images from his Instagram account. Feeding wildlife is strictly prohibited on Rottnest Island, as it can harm animals and disrupt their natural habitats. As a responsible athlete and animal lover, Makhachev made the right decision to remove the images and ensure that the quokkas are protected.

In the latest episode of the UFC's Embedded Vlog series, Islam Makhachev was recorded feeding a quokka, a small marsupial found on Rottnest Island in Australia. It remains uncertain if Makhachev will face any consequences for this action, however, it seems that the incident will not negatively impact his chances of participating in this weekend's competition at UFC 284.
