Israel Adesanya reacts to Alex Pereira mocking his stuffed toy collection

Israel Adesanya has reacted to Alex Pereira mocking his stuffed toy collection in a recent video ahead of their clash at UFC 287.

It's safe to say that the Brazilian is pretty good when it comes to mental warfare. The UFC middleweight champion recently mocked the video of 'The Last Stylebender' reacting to the Leon Edwards vs. Kamaru Usman fight at UFC 286. Adesanya's video also showed some of his anime collection and Pereira made fun of it as well.

Reacting to it during an interview with The Rock, the former UFC middleweight champion didn't seem too impressed with Alex Pereira's actions. While suggesting that the fact the way he lives his life upsets 'Poatan' is very telling, 'The Last Stylebender' said:

"One reaction he gave like they panned to like some stuffed animals where he goes, 'Ah', and for me I'm like, who the fu*k do you think you are? Like I don't look at him and go, 'Why you wearing that fu*king face paint and crying on the ground like you're a tiger?'"

He added:

"I don't care, that's what you want to do, that's what you do. If that gives you power, that gives you power but the fact that he looks at me and the way I live my life, I wasn't even doing nothing about him, I'm living my life and it upsets him, that's very telling, that speaks a lot about him than it does about me. That was him showing his hand."

Israel Adesanya reveals his goal for UFC 287 fight against Alex Pereira

Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira have had quite the rivalry over the years. While the Brazilian has managed to get the better of the former UFC middleweight champion three times, twice in their kickboxing days and once in the UFC, 'The Last Stylebender' is still motivated to get his hands raised against 'Poatan'.

Speaking to the media ahead of UFC 284 last month, Israel Adesanya said this about his upcoming matchup:

"I've never not been motivated to fight this guy, but for this one, I've put the pressure on myself. F**k the belt, f**k everything else, I have to beat this guy. That's, I guess, my motivation - just beating him. Like I said, they can say whatever they want. It's 1-0 or 3-0. I don't keep score, I settle them and I just need one and I'm going to get it done."
