Israel Adesanya shares how he "downloads" Alexander Volkanovski's exceptional movement ahead of UFC 287

Israel Adesanya is taking a leaf out of Alexander Volkanovski's book ahead of his clash against Alex Pereira at UFC 287 next weekend. 'The Great' is one of the most complete and deadly strikers in the entire promotion, and Adesanya has taken to studying Volkanovski's movement during his UFC 287 fight camp.

'The Last Stylebender' referred to himself as a "copycat ninja", stating that he can observe a set of moves and then replicate them. The former champion holds Volkanovski's skills in high regard, and is immensely grateful that the featherweight champion has joined his fight camp.

In a video posted to Volkanovski's YouTube channel, Adesanya said:

"[Volkanovski] just came here to catch a vibe... and I feel that. I feed off of that, even just watching him when I'm on the bike. I'll have a glimpse at him and I'll see him going... watching, and I see him moving to the left, he's a master at it! How's he's moving, how he's checking while he's moving, feinting, touching, jabbing. I download that sh*t man, 'cause I'm a copycat ninja. I can see it and replicate it so I download it and I'm like, 'Emulate that!' We feed off of each other."

Israel Adesanya will look to reclaim the middleweight title from the man who took it from him, Alex Pereira. 'Poatan' also handed Adesanya his first MMA defeat at 185 pounds, and their rematch at UFC 287 is one of the most-anticipated in middleweight history.

Henry Cejudo breaks down Alex Pereira vs. Israel Adesanya rematch ahead of UFC 287

Henry Cejudo is one of the sharpest minds in MMA right now, and has helped big names like Jon Jones, Zhang Weili and Deiveson Figueiredo prepare for fights over the past few years.

'Triple C' recently broke down the main event of UFC 287 between Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira. Cejudo believes that the winner of the contest will be determined by whether Adesanya has made the correct adjustments or not.

'The Last Stylebender' appeared to be winning the majority of his fight against Pereira at UFC 281 last year, before being TKO'd in the final round. Cejudo stated that if Adesanya believes he can outstrike 'Poatan', then he will lose once again.

Cejudo recently uploaded his UFC 287 breakdown video to YouTube, wherein he said:

"“I just think Israel is stuck, he just believes he could beat him in his style, so for that reason I just can’t. I’m actually somewhat cheering for Israel, but not really because I haven’t seen enough from Israel from the transitions that he adds somebody. I just feel like this man’s (Pereira) power, the fact that he’s already beaten him three times. I think fourth time, he just puts a stamp on it."
