"It was beyond my expectations" - Battle-tested veteran Seksan looks back at his eight-fight winning streak in ONE

Seksan Or Kwanmuang was already 34 when he joined ONE Championship in Jan. 2023 as part of the inaugural ONE Friday Fights card where he fought Tyson Harrison. The Thai icon had a successful debut and defeated Harrison via split decision. Since then, he went undefeated in 2023 and won his next six fights.

During this stretch, he scored wins over Silviu Vitez in March 2023 at ONE Friday Fights 9, Sean Clancy in April 2023 at ONE Friday Fights 14, Nathan Bendon in June 2023 at ONE Friday Fights 22, Isaac Araya in Aug. 2023 at ONE Friday Fights 29, Amir Naseri in Sept. 2023 at ONE Friday Fights 34, Karim Bennoui in November 2023 at ONE Fight Night 16, and River Daz in Dec. 2023 at ONE Friday Fights 46.

This outstanding run by Seksan surprised not only the combat sports community but even himself, as he shared in his recent interview with the South China Morning Post.

Seksan slated to face Liam Harrison at ONE 168: Denver on Sept. 6

Although he suffered a unanimous decision from Yutari Asahi in his previous match at ONE Friday Fights 58 in April 2024, Seksan is now scheduled to face former ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title challenger Liam Harrison on Sept. 6 at ONE 168: Denver.

The two combat sports legends will go head to head in a catchweight Muay Thai clash in front of American fans at the Ball Arena in Colorado.
