"It can feel almost suffocating" - Fans marvel at Seksan's tremendous pressure in brilliant stoppage of Sean Clancy

Seksan Or Kwanmuang authored an incredible performance in April 2023 at ONE Friday Fights 14 against Sean Clancy during their catchweight Muay Thai bout inside the iconic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

The Thai legend scored a second-round TKO finish on Clancy, and the replay of that match was reposted by ONE Championship on their YouTube channel recently with the video description:

"Before Thai legend Seksan returns to action against British striking superstar Liam Harrison at ONE 168: Denver on September 6, relive his explosive Muay Thai showdown against Irish warrior Sean Clancy at ONE Friday Fights 14 in 2023!"

'The Man Who Yields To No One' busted a massive cut on 'Clubber's' head, setting the tone throughout the match. This cut of Clancy became worse as the fight progressed.

Seksan summoned his inner Van Gogh and used the Irish striking star's face as his canvas from his own blood. Eventually, the ringside physician called a stoppage to the fight as blood continued to leak out from Clancy's face, awarding the 35-year-old with a TKO victory.

Fans tipped their hat to Seksan with this outstanding performance, as users @Redroad999, @RenanAR1, @LucieOne, and @danuwastkanton4587 commented:

"I thought Clancy was doing better than the commentary did, he just looked a mess. It's hard to deal with someone like Seksan, it can feel almost suffocation. It seemed like Clancy had a game plan with the low kicks and I think that might have paid off a bit more had the fight lasted longer."
"This fight was really fun to watch, very good, the guys go at it without backing down"
"Fight didn't even last two rounds, felt like it was five or six with as much contact as they made."
"Small body with a big heart 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉"

Seksan looks to bounce back from first ONE Championship defeat, scheduled to face Liam Harrison at ONE 168: Denver

The Or Kwanmuang representative added five more victories to his record after he defeated Clancy, but he absorbed his first loss under the promotion at the hands of Yutaro Asahi in April 2024 at ONE Friday Fights 58 with a unanimous decision setback.

Seksan is now at the tail end of his preparation for his catchweight Muay Thai showdown with fellow striking legend Liam Harrison on Sept. 6 at ONE 168: Denver, which will take place in front of American fans at the Ball Arena in Colorado.

ONE 168: Denver will take place at the Ball Arena on Sept. 6 in U.S. primetime. Tickets for the event are available on Ticketmaster.
