"It was my destiny" - Ranked UFC featherweight credits Tucker Carlson interview for life-changing love story
UFC featherweight Bryce Mitchell explained how he met his wife because of an interview with Tucker Carlson.
Over the past few years, Mitchell has done several interviews with Carlson, most recently in December 2023. The Arkansas native's appearances generated millions of views due to his conspiracy theories and different ways of thinking.
Mitchell's last fight was on December 7 at UFC 310. Before his tenth Octagon appearance, 'Thug Nasty' did an interview with Daniel Cormier and had this to say about how his appearance with Carlson changed his life:
"We named [my baby]Tucker because me and my wife met because I did an interview with Tucker Carlson. Bro, it got millions of views. Tens of millions of views. Not only did I love it, but it was my destiny. Brother, I wouldn't have a kid and a wife without that interview because I'm a very unique character."
Mitchell added:
"She can cook, she can clean, everything in between. She's a ten out of ten, and I cannot even tell you how perfect this woman is. We would have never met if I didn't go on Tucker Carlson. At that point in my life, I was praying for a wife. I was literally just saying god please give me a wife because if not, I'm in trouble."
Mitchell concluded:
"She messaged me on Instagram after that [interview] and said, 'Hey, I've seen you on Tucker Carlson and we started talking."

What's next for Bryce Mitchell in the UFC?
In December 2023, Bryce Mitchell suffered the worst loss of his fighting career due to a devastating knockout against Josh Emmett. The UFC featherweight took a year to recover before returning against Kron Gracie earlier this month.
Mitchell bounced back with an electric third-round knockout where he slammed Gracie into the canvas and followed up with elbows. 'Thug Nasty' moved up to the number thirteen-ranked in the featherweight division.
During his post-fight press conference, Mitchell accepted Doo Ho Choi's callout, with the latter defeating Nate Landwehr at the same event. Assuming the UFC is interested, the matchup could take place in the first half of 2025.
