“It was just crazy” - Liam Harrison reflects on fighting ‘twice a week’ in Thailand back in the day

British Muay Thai icon and former ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title challenger 'Hitman' Liam Harrison of the United Kingdom is one of the most accomplished international Muay Thai fighters in history.

But the 38-year-old legend admits it was his time spent training in Thailand early in his career that really molded him into the fighter he is today, and allowed him to reach the greatest heights in his career.

Speaking to MMA TV in an exclusive interview, Harrison recalled fighting back-to-back fights consistently in Bangkok, where it was considered the norm.

"Yeah, there was your craziness going on like that all the time. I ended up fighting pro boxing rules. We're fighting like twice a week. And it was just crazy. It was great. I've got a lot of life experience and life stories from those times."

Today, Harrison is an icon and one of the most revered athletes in Muay Thai history.

After two years on the sidelines due to a harrowing knee injury that almost prematurely ended his career, 'Hitman' is making an epic comeback and is ready to do what he does best in the ring.
