“It might be weights in his pocket” - Amir Khan breaks down Tyson Fury’s 281-pound weigh in and hints at potential mind games from the Brit
Tyson Fury stunned fans and pundits alike with his 281-pound weigh in ahead of his rematch with Oleksandr Usyk on Dec. 21. However, the former WBC champion was fully clothed on the scale, wearing a leather jacket and jeans, which prompted Amir Khan to speculate on what Fury's intentions were at the official weigh-ins.
Khan, a former world champion himself, was well-aware of the potential mind games being played by 'The Gypsy King'. While Fury had promised to be heavier against Usyk in their rematch, the official weight of 281 pounds was far more than anyone expected.
During an interview with The Stomping Ground in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, ahead of the heavyweight title fight, 'King' discussed Fury's weight. He said:
"That's really heavy, but he doesn't look it. He looks really lean though, when he was standing up there with his leather jacket on... I know Tyson likes to play tricks. So now, Usyk's game plan is gonna be that we better run... He's gonna have to avoid the heaviness and the weight and the power of Fury. But like you said, you don't know, is it weights? It might be weights in his pocket. You just don't know."

Tyson Fury plans on beating Oleksandr Usyk badly in their rematch
Tyson Fury is in the mood to dish out a beating ahead of his title rematch with Oleksandr Usyk in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. 'The Gypsy King' suffered his first professional defeat when he faced Usyk in May.
But Fury plans on beating up his opponent so badly on Dec. 21 that 'The Cat' won't be interested in a trilogy bout. During a recent interview with TNT Sports ahead of his clash with Usyk, the Brit said:
"My mission is to smash this f**ker's face right in on Saturday night. There's no chance he can beat me.. I've never been as confident in my life of smashing a f**ker's face in that I am of doing him on Saturday." [7:50-8:12]
He continued:
"Watch me go to work on Saturday night on him. You watch it. I beat him last time, on a half mast... What I'm gonna do to him, he won't want a trilogy." [8:15-10:05]
