"It's already in the past" - Jo Nattawut says he's not losing sleep over razor-close losses to Tawanchai

Many fans feel like Jo Nattawut has deserved more from some of his recent fights.

The Thai striker has always been better than his record suggested but that has been on full display in a pair of encounters with the same opponent.

'Smokin' Jo and Tawanchai PK Saenchai have fought two times in different rulesets, first in kickboxing and then a rematch in Muay Thai.

Both times, Nattawut has been on the wrong side of an incredibly close decision verdict from the judges.

There were a lot of pundits who believed he did enough to leave the Impact Arena with the ONE featherweight Muay Thai world championship at ONE 167 last June.

Now, Nattawut is looking to bounce back before heading into a trilogy fight with the world champion.

What he can't afford to do in the main event of ONE Friday Fights 81 is get carried away with thoughts of his next fight because Superbon isn't an opponent that can be overlooked, even for a second.

Speaking exclusively to Sportskeeda MMA, Nattawut said that he has been able to put these losses aside rather than dwelling on them:

"I respect the judges' decision. To be honest, I haven't thought too much about it. It's already in the past."

Beating Superbon is the statement that Jo Nattawut needs to make

If Jo Nattawut is able to get his hand raised at Lumpinee Stadium on Sept. 27, it will be all the proof that he needs to show that he's deserving of another shot at Tawanchai.

The two men were initially booked to compete at ONE 169 in November but there are now some potential question marks surrounding Nov. 8.

For Nattawut, all he can do is focus on himself to ensure that he comes away with the victory by any means necessary.
