"It's going to be a violent one" - Aung La N Sang vows to continue trail of destruction at ONE 168
Former ONE middleweight and light heavyweight MMA world champion Aung La N Sang appears like he's been sipping on the fountain of youth as of late with his incredible three-fight winning streak.
Since losing his belts, 'The Burmese Python' has been finishing foes left and right, putting out tough guys like Yushin Okami, Gilberto Galvao, and Fan Rong.
On September 6, live in US Primetime, the 39-year-old veteran will look to keep the ball rolling against Shamil Erdogan in their three-round barnburner at ONE 168: Denver.
The well-rounded Aung La has indeed been looking like his fearsome old self, using his dynamite power to separate foes from their consciousness, along with an improved grappling repertoire to submit them on the ground.
The Kill Cliff FC standout promised another entertaining display in ONE's highly anticipated return to the United States at Ball Arena. He told the world's largest martial arts organization in an exclusive interview:
"I'm envisioning my best performance yet and it's going to be a violent one."
Aung La will certainly have his work cut out for him in a few months since he'll face an undefeated Turkish standout. Erdogan extended his pristine record to 9-0 with a two-round mauling of Fan Rong last year.
Tickets for ONE 168: Denver on September 6 at Ball Arena are available via Ticketmaster.
