"It's heaven on earth for us" - Tye Ruotolo says dream Costa Rica gym will open to the public soon
BJJ ace Tye Ruotolo recently revealed that his dream gym in Costa Rica will be open for business very soon.
A lot of time, effort, and money has been put into owning a start-up gym for the Ruotolo brothers. With all the renovations completed, it's only a matter of time before they open to the public for the first time.
Sharing the newest intel with the fans at the ONE Fight Night 23 post-event interviews, Tye said:
"It's going to be an amazing camp. It's heaven on earth over there for us, my brother. It's a place that we've always been wanting to get to since we were litlte kids and live there, and we're finally able to build the life that we want out there. It's a dream come true. I can't wait just to have a bunch of people out to come surf and train and share what we love so much."
Tye Ruotolo is fresh off a massive grappling battle this past weekend in Bangkok, Thailand at OFN23. He took on 19-year-old phenom Jozef Chen in a 186-catchweight bout for 10 highly-contested minutes before extending his undefeated ONE record to seven by unanimous decision.

Tye Ruotolo continues to raise the bar higher than any other welterweight (or catchweight, for that matter) than anyone in Brazilian-jiu-jitsu.
The current ONE welterweight submission grappling world champion secured his seventh straight victory under the ONE banner when he reached the decision victory over fellow South African prodigy Jozef Chen.
It certainly was a hard-fought battle, with Chen showcasing a flawless guard game against Tye's energetic transitions. With neither competitor was able to lock down a submission, Tye edged the victory due to his controlled aggression throughout.
