Exclusive: Valentina Shevchenko's title is safe till she faces this one fighter, says UFC flyweight Jennifer Maia
Jennifer Maia recently claimed that she doesn't see any limitations or inadequacy in former rival Valentina Schevchenko's skillset. Furthermore, the Brazilian picked a fighter that could probably defeat the UFC women's flyweight champion.
Ever since 'Bullet' laid hands on the vacant flyweight throne after defeating Joanna Jędrzejczyk at UFC 231, back in December 2018, Schevchenko has been on a rampant run defending her title seven times in the process.
Most of these victories came in dominating fashion, barring her latest title defense against Taila Santos at UFC 275 where the reigning champion secured the victory via a split decision.

Jennifer Maia put on a spirited and stout-hearted performance against Shevchenko at UFC 255 eventually losing the contest via unanimous decision. Having had first-hand experience against 'Bullet', Maia claimed in an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda MMA's Andrew Whitelaw that she's yet to find a flaw in Shevchenko's game:
"No. Not yet [speaking about Valentina Schevchenko's flaws]. I guess there's no one who can beat her for now. It's impossible to take her title."
Furthermore, she named UFC two-division women's champion Amanda Nunes as the only opponent that could potentially beat Schevchenko:
"Maybe Amanda Nunes, maybe a very tought fight for Valentina."
Maia is scheduled to return to the octagon against Maryna Moroz this weekend at UFC Vegas 65.

Jennifer Maia engaged in a fun rapid-fire segment in an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda MMA ahead of her scheduled fight against Maryna Moroz at UFC Vegas 65. The Brazilian named Valentina Shevchenko as the hardest hitter and picked herself when asked about the fighter with the best tattoos on the UFC roster.
The former Invicta FC flyweight champion indulged in a fun rapid fire while previewing her upcoming fight and the current landscape women's flyweight division.
