“It will be a pleasure to get on that one” - Tye Ruotolo wants MMA debut at ONE 169: Atlanta

Tye Ruotolo is down to lace the four-ounce gloves for his professional MMA debut at ONE 169: Atlanta on November 8.

The ONE welterweight submission grappling world champion, who extended his unblemished promotional streak against Jozef Chen at ONE Fight Night 23, believes it'd be the perfect timeline for him to make the transition after he's ticked off his appearance at the Craig Jones Invitational.

Speaking to Sportskeeda MMA, Tye offered:

"I've seen there's already a couple of banger fights announced. It will be a pleasure to get on that one. It's pretty far out too, maybe I can make my MMA debut there, we'll see. That'd be awesome."

Earlier last month, Tye Ruotolo's twin, Kade, made a successful debut in the all-encompassing sport inside the Impact Arena.

The ONE lightweight submission grappling world champion closed out his first appearance with a rear-naked choke in the opening round against Blake Cooper.

Seeing his brother's success firsthand has only upped his desire to compete, and whether or not it'd go down in Atlanta, it shouldn't be too long before the ONE world champion follows suit.

North American fans with an active subscription can catch Tye's recent win at ONE Fight Night 23 via replay on Amazon Prime Video.
